Karen leads the Operations Team, focusing on people and process development to ensure DSC Nutrition consistently meets customer delivery and quality expectations. She oversees the day-to-day running of the factory alongside the Supervisors and Team Leaders, while also exploring new equipment and technologies to keep the business competitive, efficient, and sustainable.

Experience

With more than 25 years in UK manufacturing, Karen has extensive experience spanning product development, manufacturing, environmental management, compliance, and operations. She holds an MSc in Applied Science by Research and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), bringing technical and operational expertise to the business.

Outside of Work

Karen is a proud mum of two daughters, one a mathematician and the other an artist. To unwind, she enjoys reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. Her favourite authors include Jean Auel and Karin Slaughter, reflecting her love of both historical epics and fast-paced thrillers.
